This long standing client is a Canadian manufacturer of common, everyday fasteners. They supply fasteners to various industries and remain competitive in today’s world market.
Feeder bowls that were outdated and worn were replaced with much higher speed feeding systems capable of orienting and feeding multiple configurations of fasteners.
Replacement systems must meet or exceed stringent industry standards, must be fully adjustable to accept the many fastener configurations, and able to interface with existing packaging equipment.
Our standard vibratory feeding equipment would remain adequate, but to achieve a higher and more consistent feed rate modifications to our standard vibratory equipment had to be made.
Increased weight and mass to the base, stronger coils, heavier welds and bowl reinforcements are now included on all vibratory feeders for this client.
Working hand in hand with this client we have been able to build a supreme feeding system easily capable of withstanding the extreme workloads common to this industry.
Our client has replaced many of the original online feeding systems with the newly designed STROMAG vibratory feeding systems.
Changeover and down times have been greatly reduced and production has “gone through the roof.”
Our client is currently replacing several more units at the facility and has sourced STROMAG as their primary supplier of this type of vibratory feeding equipment.
